Technical Sales Specialist (Implementation Specialist)

This role supports business development by scoping and validating technical solutions, particularly for HEMM hardware-software integration. It involves close collaboration with clients and teams, with a strong willingness to travel and engage on-site.

Role Summary

This role involves supporting business development activities and ensuring technical solutions are accurately scoped, feasible, ready for implantation. The primary responsibilities include working closely with clients, sales, and technical teams to assess hardware-software integration needs (especially for HEMMs), define project plans, and support aseamless transition into project execution. A strong willingness to travel to sites and engage directly with field realities is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fixing appointments with generated leads and presenting product.
  • Conducting detailed site assessments to understand operational environments and identify installation feasibility.
  • Translate client needs into technically sound solutions aligned with Reactore’s platform capabilities.
  • Supporting sales with technical inputs for proposals and client discussions.
  • Maintaining client relationships and overseeing all sales-related activities, including following up on leads and updating sales records. Creating solution proposals and sending quotations to potential leads.
  • Develop clear Scope of Work (SOW), implementation roadmap, and project charter documentation.
  • Sending purchase orders for all sales and marketing-related activities.
  • Organizing and coordinating tasks to participate in trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
  • Coordinating with internal teams (Solutions and Project Management teams) to align delivery timelines and resourcing.
  • Collecting and analysing field reports from site engineers.
  • Organizing field inspections for site engineers and ensuring all deliverables are clearly defined before handover.
  • Ensure all deliverables, hardware needs, and customizations are clearly defined prior to work order handover.
  • Identifying and establishing new business opportunities and creating a vendor pool to provide additional services.

Key Skills& Qualification

  • 4–8 years of experience in solution scoping, pre-implementation, or field engineering roles, preferably in mining or     industrial tech domains
  • Strong understanding of software-hardware integration, especially in HEMM or field equipment environments.
  • Proficient in creating technical documentation (SOW, implementation plans, technical proposals)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in responding to tenders or formal bidding processes is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites (mandatory).
  • Experience working with international clients or  global deployments (desirable).
  • Exposure to responding to tenders or formal bidding processes (desirable).

Education:

     
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mining, Electronics, or Computer Science)
  •  
  • Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, M.Tech) are a plus
